José Roosevelt is able to employ several techniques and styles, this go from the hyper-realistic, passing through the pen and China ink, arriving to the Salvador Dali's surrealistic style. In some of the examples you will have to search for the VW Beetle that appears as a small detail, as it is the case of the Phot1642 - Alice (based upon a drawing of 'Alice in Wonderland'), Phot1643 and the detail Phot1644 where the VW Beetle appears with long insect legs, Phot1646 and the detail Phot 1647 with several VW Beetles in different sizes and positions. The Phot1319 is the illustration of an article about automobiles that did not comply with the regulations. The Sheriff of the Photo is hunting the "outlaw vehicles", among them is a VW Beetle that appears on a Wanted Poster. I do like this cartoon very much because the Sheriff is very funny. The name of the article is: "Os Fora da Lei" that stands for "The outlaw's". The Phot1320 is the illustration of an article about people with a weak memory that use to forget everything. The article's name is: "Rodando no Mundo da Lua" that stands for "Driving in the moon". [Page status 12/12]

The Phot 1311 is a Christmas card with a VW Cartoon that was sent by the unforgettable Mr. Heinz-Willy Lottermann. [Page status 10/12]

12MAR2001 - Added to the Phot1265 to the PAGE 3 VW Beetle Normal Use Objects-by Friends section. This material was sent by Petz Sandt from Luxemburg. He sent this contribution per e-mail and explained the following: "To you that are interested; this was produced in Norway in 1953-1954, and they only were produced there.....it measures about 20x25x25cm and has very nice images on all four sides and also on the hinged lid. Crossing handles for you to carry it......
The main image (on both sides) is from a typical Norwegian camping scenery......in the mountains, with a tent, with the hole family, good food, and, of course, the VW Beetle, a red split window....when you see it you would be amazed of the quality."

12MAR2001 - Added to the Phot1264 to the PAGE 2 VW Beetle Art Objects-by Friends section. This material was sent by Petz Sandt from Luxemburg. He made this picture himself and sent it per e-mail. This is a Bambus-Beetle found in the Pavillon of Malaysia from the Expo 2000 Hannover/Germany. He wrote the folowing: the purpose was to show that you can realize a lot of things in bamboo (the beetle was over 1 1/2 meter long) really pretty...

11MAR2001 - Added to the PAGE 1 of the VW Beetle on the Internet on non VW owned Sites nor on specific Sites about VW Beetles category the page with details of the MISCAR Auto Services. 04MAR2001 - Added the NEW CATEGORY : VW Betle on the Internet on non VW owned Sites nor on specific Sites about VW Beetles. This category was started after I have processed the EUROFIL AD. I saw that there is material available to start collecting it in a specific category. This category starts with the following pages:
EUROFIL - French insurance Site (Phot1254) the uses some VW beetle in their AD on magazines and on their Internet Site too; including an interesting animation where the VW Beetle stands for the automobile insurance. By processing the EUROFIL's magazine AD I came to the conclusion to start this new category, as explained above.
GADZOOKS Fashion Store from the USA (Phot1257). By exploring their Site you can fins some VW Beetle drawings used for the Site's decoration, including the Menu-Page. And this happens nowadays!
DONNERWETTER Weather Forecast German Site (Photo327). This Site was already subject of a special page and now was duplicated to be included in this new category where it fits better. Note the nice yellow VW Beetles that indicate how the ice of the windshields will have to be scratched in the next mornig (in winter in Germany, of course).
MAMMA American Search Engine (Photo1260). A hard copy of this Site's index was already included in the Site some time ago. Now, although the VW Beetle incone is not used any more, I included this Site as an example.

27FEB2001 - Added the new PAGE 17 of the Third Advertisements (non VW official) with the VW-Beetle Shape /Image section. The Phot1249 starts this page and shows a vintage Karmann-Osnabruck advertisement, back from 1950. Also scanned out of the reproduction of the No. 1 of the Magazine Gute Fahrt, that Markus Lottermann, from Bad Camberg-Germany, sent to me. [Page status 01/12]

26FEB2001 - Added the Phot1250 to 1253 to the PAGE 5 of the Cartoons with the Shape/Image of the VW-Beetle section.
The Phot1250 to 1252 were scanned out of the No.1 of the Magazine Gute Fahrt, sent to me by Markus Lottermann, and show cartoons made by Ludwig Koob.
The Phot1253 was sent by Frèdèric Cros from Paris, France, and shows an Christmas Card he sent to me in JAN2001, unfortunately there is no mention to the artist that made the cartoon. [Page status 08/12]

26FEB2001 - Added the new PAGE 16 of the Third Advertisements (non VW official) with the VW-Beetle Shape /Image section. This page was "put-on-air" already complete with the Phot1237 to 1248.
The Phot1237 and 1240 show automobile insurance ID's bound to the ITAÚ Bank and using the VW Beetle as illustration.
The Phot1239 shows the AD of EUROFIL a French automibile insurance company and was sent by Frèdèric Cros from Paris, France.
The next examples, Phot1241 and 1242, show how strongly the sentence "Läuft, und Läuft, und Läuft" (It runs, and runs, and runs) marked the contemporary German culture. The advertisement of the State of Lover Saxony (Phot1241), starts remembering this sentence. In the Kaldewei bathing tubes factory advertisement the same can be seen. I let both as "big files" in order to allow the reading of the text, for those who can read German, of course...
From the Phot1244 until the Phot1248, some vintage AD's extracted from the reproduction of the number 1 of the German Magazine "GUTE FAHRT" from OCT1950. These are very interesting AD's showing the begin of the advertisements using the VW Beetle as illustration. I thank to Markus Lottermann, from Bad Camberg in Germany, for having sent this material to me.

26FEB2001 - Added the Phot1235 and 1236 to the PAGE 15 of the Third Advertisements (non VW official) with the VW-Beetle Shape /Image section.
The Phot1235 shows an AD of the Nightclub "The Big Kahuna", I found this AD as I visited Bradeton, in Florida-USA back in 1992.
The Phot1236 is an AD of the Casa Bahia, a chain store of Brazil. They used to make some raffles of VW Beetles (FUSCAS). AS a matter of fact this store bought 300 Fuscas in 1993, some for their own use and others to be raffled. [Page status 12/12]

24FEB2001 - Added the Phot1234 to the PAGE 3 of the Miscellaneous: items that do not match any existing category section. This VW Beetle was taken out of an official VW AD and is embroided, a beautiful example of creativity. The German text says: "Nicht geht über die Verlässlichkeit" that stands for "Nothing can go over the reliability". It is also a contribution of my Mother. [Page Status 03/12]

24FEB2001 - Added the Phot1231, 1232 and 1233 to the PAGE 15 of the Third Advertisements (non VW official) with the VW-Beetle Shape /Image section.
The Phot1231 shows an advertisement of the Tele-Sena, a kind of lottery bound to a TV Station. I saw this AD on 24FEB2001 as I was buying a lottery ticket.
The Phot1232 shows an AD of a Automotive Center that used a VW Beetle. The Phot1233 shows an German AD of an Internet Site for the sale of used cars. I my opinion the sign shows a VW Beetle. Both examples were found by my Mother: Marguerite Gromow. [Page status 10/12]

23FEB2001 - Added the Phot1229 and 1230 to the PAGE 5 of the Cartoons with the Shape/Image of the VW-Beetle section.
The Phot1229 was sent by Walter Seufert; this is an example of the fabulous work of the German cartoonist Loriot.
The Phot1229 was scanned out of the Newspaper Notícias da Oficina and shows the use of the VW Beetle in a cartoons that, as a matter of fact, is a "find the 7 errors. Mention is made to the 8th VW Beetle Natinal Meeting that was held in the Interlagos racetrack on 23JUN2086. [Page status 04/12]

20FEB2001 - Added the Phot1228 to the PAGE 15 of the Third Advertisements (non VW official) with the VW-Beetle Shape /Image section. This is an amazing example that can be seen nowadays in the Italian Press: the AD of a coffee maquing machine with a VW sticker. Nice example sent by Filippo Massa from Italy. As you can see he helps a lot with material for the QUEST's Site. [Page status 07/12]

20FEB2001 - Added the Phot1227 to the PAGE 2 of the Famous Artists: Objects/Paintworks with the Shape/Image of the VW Beetle section. This water colour paint made in 1985 by Giogio Maria Groffa was sent directly from Italy by Filippo Massa. [Page status 11/12]

15FEB2001 - Added the PAGE 4 to the Fusca Brazil '93's comeback series of the Cartoons with the Shape/Image of the VW-Beetle section. This page is the continuation of the PAGE 3, also with many examples collected by my Mother Marguerite Gromow. It takes time to prepare this pages due to the preparation of the captions, but in my opinion it is a good way to keep track on the history of 1993. Phot1215 to 1226. [Page status 12/12]

11FEB2001 - Added the PAGE 3 to the Fusca Brazil '93's comeback series of the Cartoons with the Shape/Image of the VW-Beetle section. Most of the examples shown in this PAGE 3 were collected by my Mother Marguerite Gromow, back in 1993; and were originally published by the Newspaper "O Estado de São Paulo" - in short: OESP. You can see the almost every day the VW Beetle was used in cartoon that were made to criticize the President Itamar Franco and the come back of the VW Beetle to the Manufacturing lines. Although it is utmost difficult to explain the context of these cartoons because of the complicated political implications, I tried to give some hints to some of the examples. Phot1203 to 1214. [Page status 12/12]

11FEB2001 - Added the Phot1202 to the PAGE 5 of the Drawings and Paintworks with Shape/Image of the VW Beetle. This drawing was made by Carlos Max Baruch. He sent it to me on 20JAN1993 together with a kind note. Now it is my turn to thank him for his kindness and friendship. [Page status 06/12]

He took this picture of a Brazilian VW 1600 with 4 doors (known as "Coffin Joe" - Zé do Caixão) in the city of São Tomé das Letras (you can read the name of the city on the side of the car). [Page status 12/12]

The Phot1199 shows one example of a series made by the German Designer and Photographer Hans Schreiber, from Berlin. He took one golden VW Beetle toy 12 cm long (scale 1/36) and used it as model in the most different situations. In this example the "golden model" was photographed on the sand, seems to be a real VW Beetle...
The Phot1200 was sent by Jason Curvello Vogel, from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; and shows his two VW Beetles... [Page status 08/12]

28JAN2001 - I started collecting material for the survey "Arte & Fusca" a long time ago and some of this material are stored in many places. One of the pictures I made years ago showed a graffiti made to criticize the President of Brazil at that time (1993) - Itamar Franco. Some days ago I found these pictures and made a special page called: Graffiti Anti-Fusca.

28JAN2001 - Lyndon Hookham sent the picture of the kids that made the road sign shown in the Phot1169. The complete story is amazing and I decided to make a Special Page for this material: A special road sign in New Zealand. Check it out by yourselves...

He sent the following comment: this is a photo of a road sign that was erected at the end of last year. It was designed by the schoolchildren themselves, who range in age from 5 years old, to 10 years old. The school is in a rural area called Wainuioru and is approximately 15 -20 minutes drive east of Masterton, where I live. With the thousands of late model Japanese motor vehicles in New Zealand now, especially the big, lumbering 4wd's seen in the rural areas, I am surprised that the children chose to include a Beetle in their picture. I have been out that way several times recently and have never seen another VW out there, so I wonder what their inspiration was. [Page status 02/12]

19JAN2001 - Added the Phot1135 to the PAGE 2 Famous Artists: Objects/Paintworks with the Shape/Image of the VW Beetle section. This is a drawing made by Gugliemo Botter from Italy. [Pages status 12/12 both]

06JAN2001 - Added the new PAGE 3 of the Miscellaneous section. This pages starts with one contribution sent by Lyndon Hookham from New Zealand. The sale was meant to be made by means of a booklet where the buyer should add a 5,00 Reich Mark stamp per week. The drawings are very interesting and the sales approach was very well done. I scanned the Photos 1018 to 1022 from an Pre-World War II brochure: "Der KdF Wagen", this was an early advertisement issued by the work-group "Kraft duch Freude" (Work through Joy), that was supposed to produce the VW Beetle, but the War made the plans to be changed. 22SEP2000 - Added the Photos 1005 and 1006 to the Special: Pascal Meslet-PAGE 5. The Photo 1005 shows how McBottle made a boat out of the Type 34. I made 4 scans in order to explain the 5th drawing with boats on a harbour. One may ask: What does it have with a Volkswagen. Well just follow the pictures and you will understand. The Photo 1006 is an illuatration for a note about a VW event with rain. You can see the "scargots" the are climbing the VW Betle... [Page status 12/12]

18SEP2000 - Added a new category: Early Drawings and Paintworks with the Shape/Image of the VW Beetle. I decided to include this category when I found early drawings among my documents. These drawings were made when the VW Beetle was not a common picture on the streets scenario, therefore some of them show some imperfections. Most of these drawings were made for early catalogues and product presentation leaflets; as well as early advertisements. It is an interesting aspect to be surveyed.
This category starts with the following pages:
PAGE 1 with the silhouette drawings made by Thomas Abeking for the book: "Der KdF-Wagen von A biz Z"; it is a manual for the new car, published in 1939. [Page status 12/12]
PAGE 2 with the Photos 998 to 1004 showing the illustrations made by an unknown artist for the booklet: "Ihr Freund der VOLKSWAGEN" (Your friend the VOLKSWAGEN). I made a brief resume on each pictures' related text. [Page status 07/12]

You can see the VW Beetle carrying a sofa! Both other examples are related to a shopping center called Frankenzentrum, the Photo 984 is related to the new capacity of the parking lot. The Photo 985 has a special story. It is related to the raffle of a Mexican Beetle. At that time I was in Germany and I participated in the raffle, but, unfortunately I did not win. Both, Massa and Frankenzentrum are from Nuremberg. The Photo 985 is a lage file because I preferred to live the text in a legible size. [Page Status 04/12]

This replica exists and is in São Paulo/Brazil. Unfortunately there is no original Hebmüller here in Brazil. [Page status 08/12]

07AUG2000 - Looking to the Examples-Menu I came to the conclusion that it is time to "revamp" the pages made at the begin of the work, back to July 1999. The resources I had at that time were more limited that those I have today. In the beginning I had to "digitalize" pictures via my video camera and a special interface in my computer. The picture processing software was equally more primitive than that I have today, and, last but not least, I had far less knowledge than today. I have to admit that I'm still far from the level I would like to achieve, but nowadays I gave some steps forward. Since the first page ought to be the entrance to the work, I decided to "revamp" the very first page of the survey using the resources available now and the present expertise (please remember that I'm a self-made man on what refers to Home Page knowledge). Being so you can see the revamped Arte&Fusca-by Gromow-Brazil- Updated PAGE 1 and compare it with "old" version. You will see that with the "new" version I managed to spare 3 places by showing the "VW Subject" together with the surrounding area. These 3 places were filled with new examples that did not make part of the former issue of this page.

16MAY2000 - Looking at the Report on Updates page counter I found out that very few visitors go there to see what was added to the QUEST Site recently. This is not good because the Site is too big (>35MB) and it is difficult to find out the news only by visiting all the pages. So I decided to add a window on the Home Page showing the last updates, this will help to all to keep track on the Site's Innovations. The complete report will continue being kept on record at the Report on Updates page.

07MAY2000 - Added Photo766 scanned by me, added to the PAGE 10 . This is one Third AD on the contrary of all others of the Site: It is against the VW Beetle. Yes, during World War II there was plenty of advertisements against the VW Beetle, mostly due to its political presence on the historical field of the Nazi Government. It is really a very important historical document!!! [Page status 08/12]

07MAY2000 - Added Photo776 sent by Thelmo Frota from Rio de Janeiro/RJ - Brazil. This advertisement sent by e-mail was added to the PAGE 10 of the Third AD's section.

07MAY2000 - Added Photo775 sent by Thelmo Frota from Rio de Janeiro/RJ - Brazil. This cartoon sent by e-mail was added to the PAGE 3 of the Political VW Cartoons, made during the time the VW Beetle fabrication was re-started, section.
As a matter of fact he sent the following comment, written in Portuguese: A outra, do cartunista Valber, saiu em 03/02/1993, no jornal O POVO, de Fortaleza - CE. No nordeste, o relançamento do Fusca não repercutiu tão negativamente, e os cartunistas locais, em sua maioria, preferiram enfocar um humor mais leve e ingênuo, apenas tratando da afinidade entre o presidente Itamar e o carro.

07MAY2000 - Added Photo774 sent by Thelmo Frota from Rio de Janeiro/RJ - Brazil. This cartoon sent by e-mail was added to the PAGE 3 of the VW Cartoons section.

07MAY2000 - Started the almost complete PAGE 3 of the wonderful Pascal Meslet's artworks. This material was scanned by from the "Super VW Magazine" that I receive here in Brazil. You may note that I'm starting to develop some skill on the picture processing art. I'm trying to complete the pictures in a form that the missing parts due to text or pictures inserts are being compensated, thus forming an artwork as it should be before text or other inserts were applied during the editting of the magazine. By no means I intend to modify what Pascal Meslet did, it is only for the sake of the preservation of the artwork itself. My "tour de force", up to now, is the Photo 773, showing the grandpa of the dune buggies. Here I managed to recover the structure of the sand on the left lower corner were a text was inserted! I hope to be able to include more pages for Pascal Mestet's work because it is really a superb example of well done drawings!!! This page was lauched with the following material: Photo 762 to 765 and 767 to 773.

07MAY2000 - Conluded the PAGE 2 of Pascal Meslet's Special with the Photos 759 to 761. Scans made by me from the FANTASTIC magazine "Super VW Magazine".

I took the 4 pictures that were already in the PAGE 2 of the Famous Artists section (Photos 201 to 204) and added a selection of 8 additional photos (Photos 747 to 754). My intention was to give a view of the different cars he created in his MUSEUM. You can see much more visiting the MUSEUM itself (the link can be found in his Hall of Honor Page).

29APR2000 - Added Photos 756 and 757 showing the artwork of the Artist: Simone Mota she is 29 years old and is from Salvador Bahia/Brazil, you can read about her in her Site. These artwork are for sell and you can contact her via e-mail: mone@svn.com.br.

23APR2000 - Since some time I was searching for a manner to indicate the real origin of the pictures shown in the QUEST's Site. I used to put a name on the pictures, but it was not clear what it really meant. Well now I made a definition that is the following:

a) indication: "By:name" means that the picture or the artwork was made by the person.
b) indication: "name -found" means that the material shown in the picture was found by the person, but no picture (paper) or scan was sent, this had to be done by others.
c) indication: "name -photo" or "name -scan" means that some object either was sent in paper and had to be scanned/photographed, or an address was indicated where an object could be photographed and the name of who made the photo or scan is indicated.
d) indication: :name -sent"indicates the name of a person that sent a digital photo ready to be used.

23APR2000 - Exchanged the Photo 446, that was transferred to the new page about Art Photography, by the Photo 742 of the Miss Piggy VW Transporter, scanned from the VW Magazine No 124 pg 20.

10APR2000 - Added Photo 708 to the AEFAGEXT page 1. This picture gave a lot of work to be made. At first i found the very little VW Beetle on a Menu of a Web Seach Page http://www.mamma.com/index.htm, then I printed it many times until I found the "best" resolution; then i scanned it and composed the picture. But the result was ver satisfactory to me!!! Please check yourself....

26FEB2000 - Added Photo 573 to the PAGE 2's of Pascal Meslet's drawings. This Photo was sent by Filippo Massa/Italy.

26FEB2000 - NEW PAGE & CHANGES! I saw that there are many pictures where the car itself is the "canvas" for the artworks! Thus I created a new page for these Photos. The Photo 474 from the Miscellanneous PAGE 2 was transfered to the new page and the Photos 205, 206 and 329 from the "Arte & Fusca from Abroad PAGE 1" also. I did make the Photos 569 and 570 a long time ago and my friend Franz Kropper recovered them directly from the negative!!! The Photo 571 was made by Roxane Bay!

26FEB2000 - Added Photo 567 to the VW Beetle drawings section, it was taken from the Photogallery from Roxane Bay. She uses this picture as index photo and got it from the Internet. First origin yet unknown.

26FEB2000 - Added Special page for the Filippo Massa's cartoons. I like them but Filippo, in the beginning, did not want to send them. Now you can judge by yourself. I think that it is not necessarily a matter of good drawing skill, the important is the idea!!! Received per e-mail.

24FEB2000 - Added Photos 549 to 552 to the PAGE 1 of the Standard Cartoons section. This material was sent by Filippo Massa/Italy. Received per e-mail.

23FEB2000 - CHANGES ON THE VW CARTOONS'section! Due to the peculiarity of the cartoons about the VW beetle '93's comeback to the manufacturing lines I decided to separate them, this will allow a better understanding of this "dark anti-VW Beetlecartoon era". Being so the VW "normal" cartoons PAGE 1 lost 4 examples (Photos 157 to 160); the Photos 157 to 159 were included in a revamped version as Photos 546 to 548 on the PAGE 1 of the Fusca come back specific pages. Part of the VW "normal" cartoons PAGE 3 was transformed in the PAGE 1 of the specific comeback section. The former PAGE 4 of the VW "normal" cartoons section was transformed in the PAGE 2 of the specific come back section.
CURIOSITY: the Photos 546 to 548 (former 157 to 159 and 160) were recovered from a CNN report on the VW Beetle comeback to Brazil. They were the only examples of these era that I had until Fábio von Sydow Loureiro sent more examples. I was interviewd on this CNN report and got feed-backs even from Canada from thr Regina VDUB Club!!!

22FEB2000 - Added the PAGE 4 to the VW Beetle Cartoons section, starting with the Photos 540 to 545 showing cartoons sent by Fábio von Sydow Loureiro. These are political cartoons also and received a short description in English, although it is not possible to give a complete explanation about these cartoons, the resumee can give a picture of the environment of the shown scene.Received per e-mail.

Twelve examples of his award winning works, including two "Astronauts" paintigs to show his versatility! Received per e-mail.

18FEB2000 - Added more cartoons to the Cartoons Page 3. This interesting and historically important material was sent per Internet by Fábio von Sydow F. Loureiro, from Rio de Janeiro/RJ. The Photos 512 to 520 show the strong negative reaction from the Press (and the cartunists) against the relaunching of the VW Beetle in Brazil in the Year '93. The President Itamar Franco, who asked VW do Brasil to resume the Fusca manufacture, and the car itself were rudely attacked. It was a sorry time for the Fusca lovers. Much of the Fusca's "aura" was destructed. The worse is that much of this reaction was due to political reasons, but the song said: ONLY THE GOOD SURVIVE...

17FEB2000 - Thomas Ebke just sent some better quality pictures from the Donnerwetter Site and I included them to the Site, good result!

14FEB2000 - Site Map updated version A-02, B-02 and C-02 (will be progressievely installed).

28JAN2000 -Hi folks! Today I'll travel to the "Old Germany" for two weeks, see you mid of February again!!!

28JAN2000 - Some time ago, as I did not have a scanner (nor good quality color xerox copies), I used to make paper photographs of the material I saw, as for instance of some third AD's. Now I'm recovering this material and a friend, Franz Kroper, has a "smart" scanner that can scan direclty from the negative! Being so he scanned some of my negatives, thus recovering an important material without having to make a big paper copy first. The result is more or less acceptable for a Survey like this one. Should you have any question about these Third AD's please let me know!
The included pictures are:
Photo 497: super interesting AD from the German Bundeswehr (German Army), with this AD the Army shows that the sallary by the Army is acceptalbe!!! The important is that a Cabriolet was used as image for the well-being of a family!!!
Photo 498: A German insurance company using the VW Beetle as image for oppening horizonts.
Photo 499: A interesting AD from the Deutsche Bundespost (German Post Service) Money Services. A VW Beetle carrying a boat on the top in front of a Spanish Post Office gives the proper image for the text, nice result!

25JAN2000 - Index page actualized showing a cartoon of Ken Onodera in the Special of the Week (referring to the Ken "Cool-A" Onodera's PAGE 2), that will have last for two weeks because I'm going to travel to Germany.

23JAN2000 - Added Photos 472 and 473 to the PAGE 1 of the Miscellanneous section, also found on the WEB.

23JAN2000 - Added PAGE 2 of Miscellanneous, starting with the Photo 474 with a beatifully painted Kombi, found on the WEB (Compuserve AD?).

21JAN2000 - The aim of this work is to improove always! Now with the new Software that came together with the Scanner I can put some captions with the pictures. In order to indicate the date on the picture I will use the following legend:
[date 1] = date that the material was sent to me,
{date 2} = date that the material was received, or
(date 3) = acutal date when the photo was made.

One of these dates will be indicated, according to the information available.

20JAN2000 - Added Photos 459 and 460 sent by Fabio von Sydow Loureiro. They were added to the Third AD's Section. The first shows a VW Brasilia, first prize of a FUJI Film contest; and the second shows a protection grid for the VW Kombi's front.

19JAN2000 - After a big scare, because some photos stoppped to load, the problem was detected: without prior note the Homestead system turned to be CASE SENSITIVE! I thank to Fábio von Sydow Loureiro for his participation in the solution of the problem. All pages had to be checked and altered in order to become CASE TRUE. Now all is OK.

18JAN2000 - Added Photo 454 sent by Fabio von Sydow Loureiro. Third's AD of the Lub-Oil LUBRAX made by PETROBRÁS.
